Lush Angels on Bare Skin Review

Square

Recently I went to lush, a place where I get my favourite bath products. I looked at the skincare section (because I’m addicted to skincare if you haven’t already noticed) and being my anxious self, asked my boyfriend to ask someone what would be good for smoothing sensitive dry skin. The ‘Lush Lady’, as I put it in my Lush Haul post, was nice enough to do a demonstration on my hand!Angels on Bare Skin was the first product that caught my eye and I bought it rather quickly.

This cleanser consists of lavender, rose, and chamomile oils which calm the skin. There are also ground almonds to softly exfoliate.

Here’s what I think:

I’ve been using this cleanser for about a week now and I’ve actually seen a major difference! My skin is smoother than ever. I think I found my holy grail cleanser because this stuff works miracles. The lavender scent is so relaxing, I especially love using this at the end of the day when I’m winding down. I would definitely recommend this for people who want to smoothen their skin without harshly exfoliating. I am being completely honest when I say I am going to be repurchasing as soon as I run out.

How I use it:

I first take off my makeup using makeup wipes and then I start using this product. Lush employees explain that you only use a small bit so I usually take a pinch of it, I then wet it until it forms a paste-like consistency. I gently rub this over my face in circular motions. I’m going to be honest, I do this for like a minute straight. I know that’s not reasonable for busy people, but I just feel like it’s important to give love to your face. Then I rinse it off and do the rest of my routine (I’ll be reviewing the next products I use shortly!).

Well, this was my first ever time trying one of Lush’s skincare products and I am not disappointed! Keep an eye out for some more Lush reviews in the near future. Thank you for reading.
