Fall Decoration Inspiration

Who doesn’t love fall? The beautiful colours, the fashion, the overall coziness. It’s the perfect season for lounging around with coffee and a good movie or book. One of my favourite parts of fall is making my space as cozy as possible. Here are some ways you can achieve that.
Layers. Lots and lots of layers. Fall is a chilly time so what’s a better way to celebrate than to have lots of blankets! Layer your bed with different blankets and textures to get a super comfy vibe.

Candles. Okay this one is super obvious, but it’s a must! Candles are basically the symbol of colder weather. I love getting candles that go with the season. Right now I love anything pumpkin, cinnamon, vanilla, and apple spice.

Incense. Speaking of scents, incense is such a great way to keep the atmosphere warm and homely. Incense isn’t for everyone, but if this is up your alley I would suggest more musky scents like juniper, cedar, and myrrh.

Essential oil diffuser. If incense isn’t for you than you can use an essential oil diffuser. The one I have here is a wooden one from Walmart that I love so much because it has a owl engraved in the back! It doesn’t get much cuter than that. The way you use it is to put a tea candle in the bottom part and use a few drops of essential oils on the bowl-like top part. Not a great explanation, but it’s pretty self explanatory.

Jewelry. Take out some of your autumn jewelry and put them on display. I love seeing jewelry when I walk into someone’s home/room. I think it makes the space look more personal. Here I put some of my homemade jewelry on a white trinket dish.

Those are my ways to make your room a fall paradise! Thank you for reading.
